International cooperation to strengthen innovation in the Danube Region – RTIT project has concluded
The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Pécs participated in the RTIT project's final conference in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, presenting the results of its two-and-a-half-year international collaboration.
The event gathered over 70 experts from eight Danube Region countries, including representatives from higher education, research and development, small and medium-sized enterprises, and innovation support organizations. The project aimed to enhance SME innovation capacity and encourage the practical application of research results.
Thirteen partner institutions from eight countries collaborated to develop new models for cooperation between businesses and research organizations. Participants emphasized the need for close collaboration, a practical approach, and international knowledge exchange to drive successful innovation.
The final conference in Mostar highlighted the essential role of cross-border partnerships and knowledge exchange in advancing the Danube Region’s innovation ecosystem and strengthening knowledge and technology transfer.
As a project partner, the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Pécs actively contributed to implementation and plans to apply the experience gained to future research, development, and innovation activities.
