Faculty will host the XV. POLLACK EXPO.
The POLLACK EXPO is the only event in the country that gives you the
opportunity to learn about the latest industrial processes, novelties and
trends. Active participation in the exhibition stands, participation in the
professional presentations can provide long-term benefits - scholarships or job
opportunities.
On 24-25 February 2022, our Faculty will host the XV. POLLACK EXPO. The POLLACK EXPO is the only event in the country that gives you the opportunity to learn about the latest industrial processes, novelties and trends. We would like to inform you about the following regarding student presence at EXPO.
The two days of the POLLACK EXPO exhibition and conference are not a teaching break, but an external teaching day for all years of all majors! (Students of postgraduate specialist trainings are not affected.)
In light of the epidemiological situation, participation in the event is only allowed with a valid immunity card and wearing a mask (www.pollackexpo.hu). Delegates from the Student Council will give you a wristband to wear on both days of the event, after verification of your immunity card and proof of identity.
The wristband can also be collected at the Student Services Office between 9am and 3pm on 21-22 February 2022 (Monday - Tuesday) in office B015 after providing the necessary documents. The wristband can only be collected at the Student Services Office if it is put on immediately on the spot.
Students are asked to actively participate in at least these activities during the 2-day event:
- on the first day, a company tour (guided company tour led by a qualified teacher), and
- on the second day, a block of the English language sessions.
Students are encouraged to attend the presentations of the section most relevant to their studies. Information on the schedule of the company tour will be provided by the departments next week.
A barcode system has been developed by the Faculty as confirmation of attendance at the POLLACK EXPO. To use the system, pre-registration is required at www.pollackexpo.hu. The registration will be available from Friday 18 February 2022 from 10 am.
Participation and verification:
Students can register and attend the presentations using the access system located outside the session rooms. They can leave at the end of the session blocks, by scanning the barcode once again. At the end of the EXPO, an attendance sheet will be prepared for each major, certifying the attendance of students at the lectures and sessions.
Students who were properly registered at the MIK PARTNER'S Professional Day and attend the presentations at the Pollack Expo will receive 2 ECTS credits for their participation!
Student activities will be available in the exhibition space, organized by the Student Council of our Faculty, and upon successful completion, our corporate partners will draw valuable gifts.
The exhibition will be open from 9 am to 5 pm on 24 February 2022 and from 9 am to 1 pm on 25 February 2022, plenary presentations and section programmes are available in the programme booklet:

In order to facilitate transport to the Expo Center, shuttle buses will be available with the following departure times:
24 February 2022
between 7:30 am and 9 am every 30 minutes (round trip)
from 9 am to 3 pm every 60 minutes (round trip)
25 February 2022
from 7:30 am to 9 am every 30 minutes (round trip, departure: Arcade)
from 9am to 1 pm every 60 minutes (round trip, departure: Arcade)
