The graduation ceremony of the international programmes of the Faculty of Engineering and
Information Technology of the University of Pécs will take place on Friday, 7 July 2023 (9:00) at the Faculty of Engineering and Information
Technology (7624 Pécs, Boszorkány Str. 2,) in the open-air terrace in front of the main building entrance (in case of bad weather in Lecture Hall A010), where students of the majors Architecture OTM,
Architectural Engineering MSc, Structural Engineering MSc, Interior and Spatial
Design MA, Computer Science Engineering BSc, Computer Science Engineering MSc,
Electrical Engineering BSc, Biomedical Engineering MSc and Civil Engineering BSc will receive their Degree Certificates.
Students who have successfully completed their final
closing examinations have received an information letter with
details of the graduation ceremony after their final examinations.
Participation in the event is subject to registration (registration
started on 29 June 2023), the link to which was sent to graduates in the
information letter.
Please arrive at the venue by 8:00 am so that
you can collect your graduation gown and get prepared. You can collect
the graduation gowns in room A007. Please dress appropriately for the
solemnity of the event.
The event will also be simultaneously streamed
online through the following link on the Faculty’s YouTube

You need to hire a graduation gown from the Faculty to
receive your degree. (Please also bring two hairpins to secure the cap.)
The fee for hiring the gown is HUF 3500,
which can ONLY be paid through NEPTUN using the following
steps.
Finances > Payment > Transcribe item > Under payment
titles, choose service > For the term, choose 2022/2023-2 > For
service type, choose Participation fee at the graduation ceremony (3500.-Ft)
> Then click create the item and pay the fee.
The event will be attended by professional
photographers. If the student agrees in the registration interface, a link to
access the photos will be sent free of charge via Neptun within 7 working days
after the ceremony. After the graduation ceremony, individual and group photos
will be available.

1 hour before the start: arrival, collection of
gowns
1 hour before the start: line-up by degree, entry,
rehearsal for graduation

- Entry of the Chairs, anthem, opening
- Oath-taking
- Award of degree certificates
- Greeting of new graduates
- Valedictory speech by graduating students
- EU anthem
- Retirement of the Chairs
- Cap tossing of fresh graduates, photo session
